Inmates Sue DC Dept. of Corrections Over Its Coronavirus Response

From wamu.org

The American Civil Liberties Union of DC and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia are suing the D.C. Department of Corrections (DOC) on behalf of the more than 1,600 people incarcerated in D.C.’s jails. The class-action lawsuit alleges that the DOC has not adequately screened or tested inmates for the coronavirus, and that it has not done enough to prevent the virus from spreading.
